I last increased my prices in 2018. However, the same increases in the cost of living (gas and electric, plus inflation) that have affected everyone in this country have also been borne by me. I’ve always striven to keep my prices not just competitive but also reflective of the high standard of service that I’ve always offered, and that I’m still offering, and will always offer, to current and potential clients; now, however, I feel I need to add a small increase to the prices of my contact and distant Reiki sessions.
As from Monday 3 June, I am increasing the price of a single session (distant or contact) from £29 to £32.
Accordingly, my blocks of sessions are now priced as follows, using £32 as the price of a single session, and applying the discounts to that new figure –
- 5 Weekly Sessions – Book a block of five weekly sessions for only £27 each (saving you £5 per session), totalling £135.00.
It can be paid either in full before the first session, or in five weekly payments of only £27 two days before each session. - 8 Weekly Sessions – Book a block of eight weekly sessions for only £22 each (saving you a whole £10 per session), totalling £176.00,
It can be paid either in full before the first session, or in eight weekly payments of only £22 two days before each session.
(A block of 8 weekly sessions is the popular option with the majority of my current clients, and has been since 2013.) - A further alternative would be single sessions – For a single one hour session of Reiki the cost is £32.
Are you a member of a health insurance or health cash plan?
If you are, many of them will allow you to claim cashback on dental checkups, physiotherapy, etc – and Reiki treatments! If you are a member, your course of Reiki sessions could end up being free of charge to you!

To show my loyalty to you, and as a gesture of thanks, I will keep my prices to you at the pre-increase level of £29 for single sessions, £120 for a block of five weekly sessions, and £152 for a block of eight weekly sessions, for the next three months (June, July and August 2023).
What do I mean by the quality of my service?

Additionally, since 2009, as a Reiki Master Teacher, I have achieved the following –
- I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK’s leading regulatory body for complementary therapies and therapists.
- I am running a new Reiki research project with Reiki Home, an international Reiki organisation based in the USA; I will give more details when the work has been finalised.
- I was a Master Teacher member of the UK Reiki Federation (UKRF) from 2010 to 2019.
- I was also Research Co-ordinator for the UKRF from 2015 to 2019.
- I was a member of the UKRF’s Management Committee from 2017 to 2018.
- I was seconded to the Reiki Council in my UKRF Research capacity, from 2015 to 2019.
- The European Reiki Group (ERG) has me as a UK participant.
To have kept my prices at the old rate based on a single session cost of £29 would have been to undervalue the quality of the service that I offer to clients not only in this country but also in overseas countries. I really felt I had no option but to bring in the least possible increase that I could, yet also, as a thank you for their loyalty, ensuring that current clients will still receive Reiki at the old rate, based on a single session of £29, until the end of August 2023.
Please note that the prices of my of all of my Reiki courses will not be affected by this increase.
