At last, fame, if not fortune!

I’ve been in touch with Anuj, to thank him for this rather unexpected honour.

I mentioned earlier in this blog that I hadn’t been in touch with you for some months.  There are two reasons for that –

I’ve had a couple of health challenges throughout last year; one of which I knew about, a spinal problem, and one which I didn’t know about, namely anaemia.  Both of these conditions have left me breathless, and have slowed me down somewhat.  I’ve had a couple of ECGs in the past six months, and both are problem-free.  To be honest, if it wasn’t for transcendental meditation and Reiki having both both been such important parts of my life for more years than I care to recall, I shudder to think how I would have coped with these two problems without either of them.
The spinal problem didn’t respond to ten months of physiotherapy, so I went private, and have been seeing an osteopath, and what a difference!  The problem and its effects are gradually easing; it’s slow progress, but I’m getting there.
As for the anaemia, that was identified in my annual checkup at my GP’s practice only in January this year.  I underwent various tests, but when no serious problems were found there, my GP issued the course of iron tablets nearly two weeks ago, and I think I’m already starting to see a bit of a positive change in my health already, but it’s early days.

So, now you know what’s been going on with my health, here’s the other reason you haven’t heard from me for a while – over the past few months, my workload has gone through the roof!
Remember I told you in a previous blog about the SEO work I was having done on my website?

Is it working!!

  • As regards my distant Reiki client work, I am now working to full capacity, and have had to start my Waiting List up again (for the first time since the days of Covid and lockdowns).
  • My research project has restarted after a long quiet gap while one of my associates in the US recovered from a stroke.
  • And I now have two courses to book into my calendar, just as soon as I’m convinced that the iron tablets have done their work.

So, normal service is being resumed, here at Reiki Ken, and I am making up for lost time!
Watch out for another (award-winning?!) blog in a week or so’s time – on those forthcoming courses (which are starting to fill up . . . )
